Onyx odds rules for sweeps picks, states, and redemption

The product on the rules page is a sweepstakes, not a licensed sportsbook ticket. The sponsor gives away entries called Sweeps Cash, and those entries are what can become a redeemable prize.

Gold Coins are the other balance. You may receive Sweeps Cash as a bonus on a marked pack, and Gold Coins themselves cannot be redeemed.

Pack sizes were not printed in the rules we opened. The platform is where a pack price would have to be read.

No purchase is necessary. A free account can be created on the site.

The terms add that the age line is 18 or the age of majority, whichever is higher, and that a child must not use the account. The sweeps rules themselves say 18.

Read the onyx odds rules before you treat a balance as cash. Virtual coins under the terms carry no cash value, and purchases of Gold Coins are final. A screen that shows a win is not a prize until the sponsor finishes verification.

The cluster home for price pages is Sports betting guides. A more-or-less board with its own multiplier lives in how that board pays. Do not copy one slip onto the other.

The onyx odds promo code is not printed on the rules, the terms, or the homepage opened on 20 October 2026. Section 8 of the terms says every promotion follows its own official rules, and that the company may withdraw or change a promotion without notice.

A query string on someone else's link is not this review's code. We did not treat affiliate parameters as a published offer.

If the cashier shows a field and the current promotion rules name a string, that page is the offer. If the field is empty, leave it empty.

What a bonus is, when one exists

Example 1 is the mail-in, which is a free entry rather than a code. One compliant request is worth 5 Sweeps Cash.

Up to 100 requests can be accepted in a single monthly entry period, which is 500 Sweeps Cash if every card is accepted. A dollar value for one unit of Sweeps Cash is not published.

The card has to be handwritten and posted from the verified state. A postal request code expires 30 days after it is displayed, and the rules do not print a Gold Coin pack price, so this page will not invent one.

Promotional Sweeps Cash from the free methods is not redeemable on arrival. It has to be played at least once at displayed odds of -500 or longer.

Opposite sides of a market do not count toward that path. Wins from the cash-out tool are not redeemable, and the tool can be removed.

Wins from mini-games, including the blackjack mini-game, are not redeemable. A code would not erase that limit.

The onyx odds legal states question is answered by the sweepstakes rules, not by a coupon map. Version 2.1.2, updated 29 September 2026, is open to legal US residents who are 18 or older, excluding Alabama, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Idaho, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee, Washington, and West Virginia, and void where prohibited.

The homepage state line opened the same day did not match that exclusion list. It repeated abbreviations and included states the rules exclude.

This review does not treat that homepage line as a map, and it does not describe a workaround. If the app and the rules disagree, the rules control.

A separate predictions product is named in the sports rules, which say those rules may not apply to it. A licence number for that product was not on the pages opened.

Where a sportsbook is licensed is a different product from a sweeps entry. Promotional-coin lobbies explain the two-balance model in general. Neither page is a permission slip for an excluded state.

The onyx odds payout is the odds on the slip at submission, then a redemption request that the rules say may take up to 30 days. General sports rules, effective 5 October 2026, say minimums, maximums, and payout odds may change without notice. A submitted pick cannot be canceled.

Cash Out may be offered on selected picks at a value the company sets. It is not guaranteed, it can be suspended, and a processed cash-out ignores the later result. Sweeps Cash won through that tool still cannot be redeemed, under the sweeps rules.

Example 2 is the Florida ceiling in the rules. During one entry period, redemption of a prize in Florida is limited to $5,000.

Amounts above that ceiling are not paid in the period. They are deferred to the next period.

The rules do not print a national minimum redemption in dollars. That minimum is not published.

Example 3 is a ceiling the sponsor reserved, not a promise. It may limit Onyx Cash redemption to $1,000 in a week and $5,000 in a month.

Prizes of $500 or more may take longer and may be split into more than one payment. Only one redemption request per account is processed in any five-day window.

The company says it tries to meet the quoted time and does not guarantee it. We did not time a payment.

Handling fees may be charged, and the amount is not published. A winner can be asked for a Social Security number.

How a US person reports a win is the filing note, and IRS Topic 419 treats the prize as taxable. This is not tax advice.

An onyx odds account that sits idle for 30 days can lose its Sweeps Cash. The rules say a balance expires 30 days after the last login unless the company decides otherwise.

A postponed event is generally no action, and a parlay is then recalculated on the legs that remain. The company can void a pick for a pricing error, correlated legs, or coordinated play, and its settlement decision is final.

In the printed two-way dead-heat example, the customer receives half the original payout. That is their example, not a live market.

A ticket that needs every leg is the general version of a parlay. Player-stat markets are the general version of a prop.

Nothing on the onyx odds pages opened here is a hashed seed. Odds of winning are supposed to be visible in the game, and the sponsor may change win rates. That is a displayed price, not a public proof.

Three cons sit behind that grid. There is no standing public code, a redemption can sit for 30 days, and free Sweeps Cash must clear a -500-or-longer playthrough before it can be redeemed.

Cash-out wins and blackjack mini-game wins are not redeemable. The homepage state line also disagreed with the exclusion list.

Compare an onyx odds redemption with a shared pot only after you separate the products. The sweeps app grades a pick under its rules and then reviews a prize request. A player-versus-player round on this site grades stakes the players already posted.

On Coinflip, two $50 stakes make a $100 pot. The fee is 5%, which is $5, and the winner receives $95.

Four $50 Jackpot entries make a $200 pot, the fee is $10, and the winner receives $190. Fairness checks the committed seed in the browser.

That check does not audit a sweepstakes feed, and this app does not publish a Coinflip seed.

Roulette on this site is a separate game: 16 Purple and 16 Silver pay 2x, one Green pays 14x, and 5% comes off a winning payout. P2P Slot takes 10% of a winning pot.

None of those games is a sports pick. This site does not offer the sweeps app.

Play-money rooms are closer to Gold Coins than to a hashed pot. A market matched between users is closer to a shared stake than this sweeps redemption is. A friends sheet sets its own fee and is not this brand.

Leave onyx odds alone if you are under 18 or you live in an excluded state. Leave it alone if you need the money inside 30 days, if a Gold Coin purchase would come from rent, or if you are treating an unverified screen as cash.
