Andar bahar: the joker, the alternating deal, and an edge the pages skip
Andar bahar is the Indian card game on two Evolution pages opened 20 October 2026. One page says you predict which side receives the joker. The multiplier version deals the joker first, then Andar, then Bahar, alternating. Neither page prints a house edge or the main-bet odds.

Two studio pages, and what each one is
The English overview is the Ezugi page at games.evolution.com/live-casino/andar-bahar. It calls the game simple, popular, and from India, and says it has spread to other countries.
The objective line says you predict whether the joker will be dealt to the Andar side or the Bahar side. The same paragraph says there is a chance to win up to 120 times the stake, plus live statistics and a large variety of side bets.
That page does not say which side is dealt first. It does not print a payoff for a correct side, a deck count, or a house edge. The 120-times sentence stays a sentence on that page, not a paytable we can multiply.
A different product on a second URL
The multiplier version is the Portuguese studio page for the Super title. The April 2022 news note announces that launch and calls the first card the joker, or sometimes the house card. Side bets on that note are optional.
The English overview's footer names Evolution Malta Holdings Limited and Malta licence MGA/B2B/187/2010. That line identifies the company on the page. It is not a ruling about your state.
The casino games hub is the cluster. We did not play a hand or open an account.
What the andar bahar deal does, on the page that prints it
The multiplier page is the one that describes the deal. The English overview does not. Do not paste the second page's order onto a table that never printed it.
The round starts with the joker, also called the first card. After bets close, the dealer deals first to Andar and then to Bahar, alternating between the sides. You are betting on which side receives a card that matches the joker's value.
The side-bet copy says the count of cards runs until a matching value is revealed. The page does not print how many decks are in the shoe. It names a band for cards 46 to 49, and it still does not say how many decks that band implies.
A burn card, a cut, or a shoe size is not on the pages we opened, so those steps stay out.
The button count is the dome-and-wand count. The drawing rules for the shoe game are a different procedure.
Side bets the multiplier page names, and the odds it does not
The studio page says there are ten side bets. The bands it names start at cards 1 to 5 and cards 6 to 10, and they continue in that pattern through cards 46 to 49.
A side bet is a guess at how many cards will be dealt after the joker before a matching value appears. You win when the count lands in the band you took. The page says each option shows its payout in multiples of five, except the last.
It does not print those multiples one by one. Inventing 5x, 10x, or 15x would be a guess, so the cells stay at the phrase the page actually uses.
Random multipliers from one to five are applied to the side bets. The page says the cards 46 to 49 band can reach 4,000x.
The April 2022 note says between one and five random multipliers are applied to the side-bet odds, and it also says payouts up to 4,000x. Those two wordings are not the same sentence. Both stay tied to the page that printed them.
Those bands are the andar bahar side bets on that page. The main bet, Andar or Bahar, has no printed price on either URL. A person dealing on a stream is the lobby shape. It does not fill in a missing multiple.

Why a ceiling is not an edge
A house edge is the long-run share a game keeps. None of the three pages prints that percent, for the main bet or for a side band. This note will not compute one from a deck we were not shown.
The 120-times line and the 4,000x line are ceilings the pages name. A ceiling is not a frequency. The pages do not print the chance of either figure.
What the keep is called is the general name, once a return or a full paytable is on a page you opened. These pages are not that page.
The English overview's age gate is 21 plus, and the page prints 800-GAMBLER. The multiplier page's age gate is 18 plus.
Those are gates on two demo sites, not a statute for your state. The single-zero layout is a different game, and it does not fill this missing edge.
A dealt card beside a house shoe and a player wheel
The studio prices a guess against a paytable it did not fully print. A house can install another multiple. This site's wheel has a fee you can recompute from the rules here.
Do not paste an andar bahar multiple onto the wheel. The 120-times line and the 4,000x line belong to the pages that printed them.
| Fee or edge | Who you play against | Payout speed | Provably fair | Minimum bet | |

| PVPspinArena | Purple and Silver are about a 7.88 percent edge after the 5 percent win fee | other players | balance updates when the round settles | yes, seed committed before the round | shown on the bet control |
How PvP compares: the card game asks which side matches a joker. Roulette asks which pocket a 33-slot wheel hits, with 16 Purple, 16 Silver, and 1 Green.
Purple and Silver pay 2x, then 5 percent comes off that winning payout, so a hit keeps 1.90 times the stake. Sixteen divided by 33, times 1.90, minus 1, is about −0.0788.
That is the 7.88 percent edge on those two pockets. Green pays 14x. This page does not quote a Green edge.
A settled round can be checked on the fairness page. The check matches this site's commit. It does not audit a studio shoe.
Balances are US dollars, funded with Bitcoin or with USDC or ETH on Base. Cash-out minimum is $20 in BTC, USDC, or ETH.
We did not time a cash-out. The briefcase show is the live game-show cabinet.
Three labeled pictures, none of them a dealt hand
None of these is an andar bahar result we played. The first two apply a ceiling printed on a page. The third uses a fee from this site.
Example 1 — the 4,000x line. On a $1 side bet, 4,000 times the stake is $4,000. The studio page ties that figure to the cards 46 to 49 band, with random multipliers in the mix.
The page does not print the chance. The $4,000 is a ceiling, not an expected result.
Example 2 — the overview sentence. "Up to 120 times" on a $2 stake is $240 if the sentence is read as a cap. That sentence is on the Ezugi page, not on the multiplier page.
It is not a paytable row, and it is not a house edge.
Example 3 — a player pot. Four $50 jackpot entries make a $200 pot. The fee is 5 percent, $10, so the winner receives $190.
That $10 is this site's pot fee. It is not a commission from a card studio.
Checks before a joker table is treated as these pages
A joker card on a felt does not prove either URL. Read the rules on the table you are at.
- [ ] Confirm you are 18, or older if the site or the pit sets a higher age.
- [ ] Confirm the game deals a joker and then two sides, not a slot and not a fan contest.
- [ ] Accept Andar-first, then Bahar, only if the rules you opened say that.
- [ ] Leave the main-bet payoff unpublished when the glass does not print it.
- [ ] Leave the house edge unpublished when no page you opened prints it.
- [ ] Do not move the 120-times line onto the multiplier version.
- [ ] Do not move the 4,000x line onto the Ezugi overview.
- [ ] Do not invent the missing side-bet multiples of five.
- [ ] Do not treat a deck count as known. The pages do not print one.
- [ ] Set a loss stop before the first stake.
- [ ] If the hand becomes a chase, call 1-800-GAMBLER.
- [ ] Recompute a round on this site's fairness page, and do not ask it to audit a studio.
Who should leave the joker table alone
An andar bahar hand can lose the stake. The pages we opened do not print a return percent, so there is no long-run figure here to lean on. A printed ceiling is a lid, not a plan.
Do not play if you are under 18, or under a higher age on the site you opened. Do not play where the game is illegal. Do not stake rent, savings, or money with a due date.
Do not play to get even. A run of misses is not a debt the next card owes you. Why a cold run is not a credit is the general point.
This page is an editorial note, not a statute, and not a coupon. This site does not offer the card game.
If play stops being a bounded spend, call 1-800-GAMBLER and open responsible gambling.
