Starburst slot: what the NetEnt sheet prints, and what it leaves blank
Starburst slot is NetEnt's gem, bar, and seven game. The studio page opened on 20 October 2026 prints 96.08% RTP, an 800 times stake cap, a 5 by 3 grid, and 10 play lines. It also prints a 23.00% hit frequency and a demo control. Those figures describe one build, not a promise that a session ends ahead.

What the starburst slot sheet prints
The page we opened is NetEnt's sheet for the 23 January 2012 release, at netent.com/games/starburst. The description names gems, golden bars, and lucky sevens, plus expanding wilds and respins.
The footer names Evolution Gaming Malta Limited, registration C 44213, and Malta licence MGA/CRP/187/2010 issued on 8 April 2022. That line identifies the company on this page. It is not a casino directory, and it is not a ruling about your state.
We did not open a casino account, and we did not time a cash-out. This file has no affiliate link.
One URL only
This article uses only the URL above. If a lobby tile adds extra words, open that tile's rules before you borrow 96.08% or 800 x bet.
The slots hub collects cabinet notes. A safari progressive from another studio is a different product. Read the safari progressive listing when that tile is the one you meant.
A 5 by 3 grid, ten lines, and a column wild
The stat row prints reels and rows as 5 x 3, and play lines max as 10. Wins are described as lines. The sheet does not say whether those lines pay both directions, so that detail stays unpublished.
The jewel-studded star is an expanding wild. When it lands it covers the whole reel, substitutes for paying symbols, and triggers a respin.
The respin copy says the same star fills the reel and gives another spin.
The page does not print which reels may hold that star, or a maximum number of respins, or a symbol paytable. Those cells stay unpublished until a rules screen you opened prints them.
Read the starburst slot rules on the glass you are pressing.
How a reel stop becomes a pay is the general machinery. How lumpy a short session feels is why a quiet minute and a loud minute can share one return.
96.08% return beside a 23% hit rate
Two percentages sit on the same row. They answer different questions.
Starburst slot rtp on the opened sheet
The printed return is 96.08%. Over a very long run, that is about €96.08 back in prizes for every €100 staked, if this build is the cabinet you are on. The complement is 3.92 points kept by the game.
That subtraction is arithmetic from the printed return. The sheet does not label a separate edge, and the gap is not a forecast for tonight.
What a return percentage measures is the long-run centre. The complement of a return is the same gap seen as a price.
Hit frequency is a different percentage
The sheet prints hit frequency as 23.00%. The stat row does not define which prize sizes count as a hit. A hit can be smaller than the stake.
A 23% hit rate can live inside a game that keeps 3.92 points, because many hits are small and rarer pays carry part of the return. Waiting out a quiet stretch is the myth that a dry stretch is owed. The sheet does not store a debt to the next press.
The 800x line is a lid on one stake
Max payout is printed as 800 x bet. On a €1 stake the arithmetic ceiling is €800. On the printed maximum stake of €100 the arithmetic ceiling is €80,000.
Both figures are caps taken from the sheet. Neither is a likely result, and this page promises neither one.
Starburst slot max win is a cap of 800 x bet
The visible row does not print the chance of reaching that cap. Leave the probability unpublished.
A printed lid does not raise the return. The 96.08% already includes every prize the model pays, up to that lid.
| Line on the NetEnt sheet | Printed figure | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| RTP | 96.08% | long-run return on this build |
| Max payout | 800 x bet | a cap, not a forecast |
| Reels / rows | 5 x 3 | the grid on this sheet |
| Play lines max | 10 | direction of the lines is not printed |
| Hit frequency | 23.00% | not the same statistic as RTP |
| Min / max bet | €0.10 / €100.00 | euros, as printed |
| Bonus mode | Yes | a label, not a buy price |
| Feature-buy price | not published | no buy stake is printed |
| Volatility word or number | not published | the cell is a graphic |
| Respin limit and wild reels | not published | the feature copy omits them |
This sheet beside a house casino and a player pot
Three products get mixed because each can show reels. Only this site's player games have a fee you can recompute from the rules printed here.
Do not paste a starburst slot percent onto a different tile. The 96.08% belongs to the NetEnt URL we opened.
A house may install another maths set. If that rules screen is silent, write not published for the install.

| PVPspinArena | Slott takes 10% of a winning pot. Purple and Silver are about a 7.88% edge after the 5% win fee | other players | balance updates when the round settles | yes, seed committed before the round | shown on the bet control |
How PvP compares: the gem sheet prices a spin against a paytable. Roulette prices a stake against other players on a 33-pocket wheel, with 16 Purple, 16 Silver, and 1 Green.
Purple and Silver pay 2x, then 5% comes off that winning payout, so a hit keeps 1.90 times the stake.
Sixteen divided by 33, times 1.90, minus 1, is about −0.0788. That is the 7.88% edge. Green pays 14x, and this page does not quote a Green edge.
A settled round can be recomputed on the fairness page. The check matches this site's commit to the result. It does not audit NetEnt, and it does not audit a casino that rents the gem game.
P2P Slott is the reel duel here, and it takes 10% of a winning pot. Balances are US dollars, funded with Bitcoin or with USDC or ETH on Base.
Cash-out minimum is $20 in BTC, USDC, or ETH. We did not time a cash-out.
A demo control, and a buy price that is missing
Starburst slot demo on the NetEnt page
The sheet shows a Demo control. The page description says the game can be played for free in demo mode. That is practice on the studio URL.
We did not complete a demo round, so this note reports no practice result. A casino lobby may hide practice even when the studio page offers it.
Practice play as a category separates a fun credit from a cash spin. A demo can show the expanding wild. It cannot prove the next cash hour.
Bonus mode is a label
The stat row marks Bonus mode as Yes. The features under that label are the expanding wild and the respin. The sheet does not print a feature-buy stake.
Paying extra to jump to a feature is a different shape of product. Do not invent a buy price this page never prints.
Three labeled pictures, none of them a promise
None of these pictures is a starburst slot result. The first applies the printed cap to the printed minimum stake. The other two use fees from this site.
Example 1 — sheet ceiling. The minimum stake on the NetEnt row is €0.10. Times 800, the arithmetic lid is €80.
That €80 is a ceiling on that stake, not an expected result.
Example 2 — Slott win. Suppose the winning pot on P2P Slott is $40. Ten percent is $4, so the winner keeps $36.
The $4 is this site's duel fee.
Example 3 — Purple payout. A $15 Purple stake that wins pays 2x, which is $30. Five percent of that payout is $1.50, so the player receives $28.50.
One win does not reveal the 7.88% edge. Most Purple stakes lose, and the edge is the long-run price.
Checks before a gem tile is treated as this sheet
Use the list on the cabinet you opened. A familiar star does not prove the 23 January 2012 maths.
- [ ] Confirm you are 18, or older if local law sets a higher age.
- [ ] Open the rules screen on the install you are pressing.
- [ ] Accept 96.08% only if that screen prints it.
- [ ] Accept 800 x bet only if that screen prints it.
- [ ] Accept 5 x 3 and 10 play lines only if that screen prints them.
- [ ] Leave volatility unpublished when the cell is a graphic without a number.
- [ ] Do not treat Bonus mode Yes as a buy price.
- [ ] Use the studio demo for practice, and do not treat it as a forecast.
- [ ] Keep 96.08% off other tiles, including a safari progressive.
- [ ] Set a loss stop before the first paid spin.
- [ ] If the session becomes a chase, call 1-800-GAMBLER.
- [ ] Recompute a PVPspinArena round on the fairness page, and do not ask it to audit NetEnt.
Who should leave the gem tile alone
A starburst slot session can end below the stake you brought. The 96.08% return is a long-run average, so the ordinary path includes losses. The 800 x bet line is a lid, not a plan.
Do not play if you are under 18, or under a higher local age. Do not play where the game is illegal. Do not stake rent, savings, or money that has a due date.
Do not play to get even. The sheet does not owe the next spin a wild. This page is an editorial note, not a statute reading, and not a coupon.
PVPspinArena does not offer this title. If play stops being a bounded spend, call 1-800-GAMBLER and open responsible gambling.
