CSGO 1v1 for money: distinguish CS2 from browser duels
A CSGO 1v1 search usually means a Counter-Strike duel, now commonly played in CS2. For money matches, identify who hosts the game, who holds the entries, and who settles disputes. PvPStrike offers a separate CS-style browser duel; it cannot join a native CS2 server.

Which game are you joining?
| Question | Native CS2 custom match | PvPStrike |
|---|---|---|
| Client | Valve game on Steam | Separate browser game |
| Maps and weapons | CS2 server configuration | Arena and loadout defined here |
| Score authority | CS2 host and competition rules | Our authoritative match runtime |
| Cash terms | Organizer-specific, if offered | Entry and 5% pot fee shown before acceptance |
CS2 betting on a professional team belongs to the existing CS2 betting page, not to this player-versus-player guide.
Set fair conditions before the first shot
Agree on map, spawn positions, weapon rules, sides, series length and reconnect handling. A screenshot of one kill is weak evidence for a whole series. Native server settings can change the duel substantially: a respawn aim arena and a bomb round test different skills.
Use aim maps for native practice and PvPStrike's public overview for our rules. Our game does not reproduce CS2's movement, damage or recoil exactly.
Read the amount you can lose
With $10 each in PvPStrike, the $20 pot yields $19 winner credit after a $1 fee: +$9 net to the winner, −$10 to the loser. This is a worked example, not a result. For other hosts, use their actual published fee; do not reuse ours.
The FPS money hub explains pot versus profit. Compare the acceptance and evidence workflow in Checkmate Gaming rather than assuming its fees or anti-cheat match ours.
Use the right next step
Practise without an entry first. Inspect the FPS & aim topic for mechanics and the terms for eligibility. A CS-style appearance does not imply Valve affiliation, VAC protection, licensed state access or guaranteed payouts.
